Important:
- All off-campus users must connect using VPN.
- Internet Explorer is required for web access. If you use a different web browser, try using the Remote Desktop Client. Use the login information below and follow instructions specific to your operating system. If you still can't connect, call 645-2955 or email sbi-it@buffalo.edu.
Remote Desktop Client
The Remote Desktop Connection client can also be used to connect to KVS.
Windows XP
Click Start ⇒ All Programs ⇒ Accessories ⇒ Communications ⇒ Remote Desktop Connection
Windows Vista/Windows 7
Click Start ⇒ All Programs ⇒ Accessories ⇒ Remote Desktop Connection
Mac OS
Download the Mac RDP Client.

Printing
Most local printers can be redirected for report printing. The most common causes that prevent redirection are:
Print driver not installing
If you are having trouble connecting your local printer send an email to sbi-it@buffalo.edu with the name and model of the printer.
Saving Reports
To save reports on your computer
you will need theRemote Desktop Client
(see above).- Open the Remote Desktop Client
- Click Options, and then click the Local Resources tab
- Click Disk Drives, and then click Connect.
