Travelers
by Sean McGill
couldnt think of the right words
to explain
these things
on my mind
so i thought i’d write a poem
and then i did
thinking of the first time we met
and moving you in
and tony subversivly playing matchmaker
i’ll never forget how you looked
in revolution green
one night
when we stayed up late
and we transcended
space
but not time
Midnight in the Garden
by Sean McGill
A whisper to a teardrop
Was your refuge from walking in the rain
Being “that guy” was what probably
saved you
From that
A huge fiasco
To bring you back from Savannah
No longer
The door-mat man is gone
Step back please
What next
War’s over
Israel lost a long time ago
Others scattered about
Not necessarily the most important
but adding up
Pieces of the puzzle
Beginning to finish the picture
The Potent Imagery Of A Thousand Rabid Dogs
by Puranjay Singh
The little dreams of insanity rain like cold hail upon a naked body
Slowly but slowly the skin you wear turns unreal
The undecided fakeness of the smiles you see around
A mild confusion over the definition of being real
A well labeled caption over every face you come across
Prejudice demands your words to be cut-and-pasted
There’s jealousy, yes, and there’s the pride
Every inch of living being you see in disguise
You turn a blind ear to the internal dialogue
The lumpy fatigues you’ve worn over the years only strengthen the fact
That there’s potency in the image of a thousand rabid dogs
Gnarling and growling at every fake face they come across
