I was a bit taken back by the review for the movie adaptation of the book (“How to Lose Viewers / How to Lose Friends and Alienate People,” Generation vol. 26 ,issue five). The review made some awful connection with the writer’s strike and the film... to be honest, I got lost in whatever quirky comments the reviewer was trying to make. However, how come there was no mention of the book? No mention of Toby Young? It may not be one the best of books to put onto the big screen, but it is an entertaining quick read, to say the least.
