A momentous occasion will occur this coming Friday, September 22! At 7 PM, 127 Merrimac Street, which is directly off of Main Street near South Campus (dormers can take the bus), will be the rockin’-est place this side of Timbuktu! First up is Building the Fire, a composite of hardcore biatches from Buffalo and Rochester, including ex-members of the infamous Dead To the World! Next, A Better Tomorrow will blast off your pants in a manner complementary to your personal aspirations of naughtiness. They draw influences from such punk upstarts as AFI, Millencolin, and Bad Religion. Finally, our big closer is Rochester’s Standfast, cranking out original new-school hardcore and unafraid to break new ground. I’ll see you there.
