"All hell can't stop us now..." Too bad, it did. Although Rage and front man Zack De La Rocha have gone their separate ways, they've managed to grab a Grammy to show for their efforts. "Guerrilla Radio" won for best hard rock performance against some real stiff competition. Surely I jest. The only viable opponent between Rage and a golden statue was Pearl Jam. Kid Rock and Stone Temple Pilots were laughable candidates, and the fact that Limp Biscuit and award-winning are mentioned in the same sentence makes me feel ill. "Guerrilla Radio" is classic Rage Against the Machine-De La Rocha spits the vocals all over the place and Tom Morello's guitar work capitalizes the "F" in Funk. It's a really cool song musically and very deserving of the accolades, but it gets you to thinking about what Rage is all about and what they stand for. Then take a look at how much money they're making-maybe the Grammy was the icing on the cake and it really is time to call it quits.
