ARTF provides workshops and volunteer training sessions to the University and the local community. The workshops address issues such as gender objectification, the difference between consensual sex and rape, and violence in interpersonal relationships.
Our mission is to increase campus awareness of rape and sexual assault. Trained student volunteers present workshops that include question and answer discussion sessions. We can also develop workshops for specific groups upon request. Workshops include:
Take Back Every Night
Take Back Every Night is an interactive workshop about how college students are affected by rape and sexual assault. We explore the cultural and social norms that contribute to the epidemic of sexual violence in our country and on our college campuses. Learn what to do if you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, and what resources are available both on and off campus.
